Karate-do Kyohan - The Master Text | Writer: Funakoshi Gichin | Translator: Tsutomu Ohshima | Publisher: Kodansha International | Year: 1973 | 256 Pages | Pdf | 156 MB (High Resolution Scan). In 1935, master Funikoshi published his third book: a master text titled karate-do kyohan. For the book, a famous artist drew a symbolic tiger that has become associated with shotokan. He also wrote “Karate-Do Kyohan” - The Master Text, the “handbook” of Shotokan and he wrote his autobiography, “Karate-Do: My Way of Life”. These books and his art are a fitting legacy for this unassuming and gentle man. He also translated it into English in 1973, and published his own Notes on Training in 1998. Dai Nihon Karate-do Shotokai is the official representative of Shotokan karate. Ohshima demonstrated the 19 Shotokan katas for Karate-Do Kyohan: The Master Text, Funakoshi's description of Shotokan. The original Shotokan kata syllabus is introduced in Funakoshi's book Karate-do Kyohan, which is the Master Text of Shotokan karate. Buku ini ditulis oleh Master Funakoshi Gichin (1868-1957), orang yang bertanggungjawab memperkenalkan karate dari Okinawa ke mainland Japan.
